Description

A cold-pressed grapeseed hair oil for women in Pakistan with fine, oily, or easily-weighed-down hair who still want the conditioning, shine, and scalp benefits of an oil treatment. Lightweight, non-greasy, and packed with linoleic acid, vitamin E, and antioxidants — it absorbs cleanly without leaving the heaviness most hair oils do.

Most hair oils in Pakistan are too heavy for daily use. Coconut, mustard, and amla oils sit on top of the strand, attract dust and buildup, and leave fine hair flat. Grapeseed oil is different. Its molecular structure is light enough to coat the cuticle and lock in moisture without weighing the hair down — which makes it ideal for thin hair, oily scalps, frizzy lengths, and any hair type that doesn't tolerate heavier oils.

Use it three ways. As a scalp treatment to balance oil production and reduce dandruff. As a leave-in serum on damp ends to control frizz and add visible shine. As a heat protectant before styling — grapeseed oil has one of the highest smoke points of any hair oil, which is why it sits on the shaft and shields it from heat damage instead of breaking down on contact.

Cold-pressed from nutrient-rich grape seeds. Free from mineral oil, parabens, sulphates, silicones, and artificial fragrance. Safe for coloured hair, chemically-treated hair, and sensitive scalps. Part of Dr. Arooba Batool's complete hair routine — a daily-use oil that fits between heavier weekly treatments and your styling routine.

Benefits of Grapeseed Essential Oil

  • • Strengthens weak, brittle strands and reduces breakage with vitamin E and linoleic acid
  • • Moisturises hair without greasiness or buildup — safe for fine and oily hair types
  • • Seals the cuticle for visible shine and smoothness
  • • Helps reduce dandruff, itchiness, and scalp irritation
  • • Balances oil production on oily, combination, or congested scalps
  • • Acts as a natural heat protectant when applied before styling — high smoke point shields hair from damage
  • • Lightweight enough for daily use, unlike heavier coconut or mustard oils
  • • Safe for coloured, keratin-treated, and chemically-processed hair

How to Use Grapeseed Essential Oil

  • As a scalp treatment: Warm a small amount in your palms. Massage into the scalp for 5–10 minutes to stimulate circulation and balance oil production. Leave for at least 1 hour or overnight. Wash out with a sulphate-free shampoo. Use 1–2 times per week.
  • As a hair serum: Apply 2–3 drops to damp or dry mid-lengths and ends. Smooth through with your fingers or a wide-tooth comb. Use daily for frizz control, shine, and breakage protection. Avoid the scalp on application.
  • As a heat protectant: Before blow-drying, straightening, or curling, apply 2–3 drops to towel-dried hair. Distribute evenly through the lengths. Style as normal.
  • As a blending base: Mix 1–2 tablespoons of grapeseed oil with stronger oils like castor or rosemary for a custom scalp treatment. Grapeseed dilutes their heaviness while keeping their actives intact.

Ingredients in Grapeseed Essential Oil

  • • Cold-Pressed Grapeseed Oil (Vitis Vinifera Seed Oil) — 100% pure, cold-pressed from grape seeds to preserve the full nutrient profile. Cold-pressing is a low-heat extraction method that protects the linoleic acid, vitamin E, and antioxidants that high-heat extraction destroys.
  • • Linoleic Acid (Omega-6) — A fatty acid the body cannot produce on its own. Strengthens the cuticle, locks in moisture, and supports a balanced scalp barrier.
  • • Vitamin E (Tocopherol) — Twice the vitamin E of olive oil. A powerful antioxidant that protects hair from UV damage, pollution, and the oxidative stress that ages hair prematurely.
  • • Proanthocyanidins (OPCs) — Polyphenol antioxidants unique to grapeseed. Studied for their potential to support hair follicle activity and protect against environmental damage.

CAUTION

  • For external use only. If you have a known grape or grape seed allergy, do not use this product. Patch-test on the inner arm 24 hours before first use if you have sensitive skin. Avoid contact with eyes — rinse with clean water if accidental contact occurs. Discontinue use if irritation, redness, or rash develops. Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool, dark place — direct sunlight and heat can degrade the antioxidants in cold-pressed oils.

DISCLAIMER

This is a cosmetic haircare product and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition of the hair or scalp. While grapeseed oil is widely studied for its conditioning, antioxidant, and barrier-supporting properties, it is not a medical treatment for hair loss, alopecia, or chronic dandruff. Results vary depending on hair type, scalp condition, consistency of use, and overall haircare routine. For persistent scalp conditions, severe hair fall, or chronic dandruff, we recommend a consultation at Dr. Arooba Batool's clinic.

Grapeseed Essential Oil FAQs

Is grapeseed oil too light to actually work on hair?

No — and that is exactly why it works for hair types where heavier oils fail. Lightness is not the same as weakness. Grapeseed oil is rich in linoleic acid, vitamin E, and antioxidants that strengthen the cuticle, seal in moisture, and protect against breakage. It just delivers all of that without the heavy, greasy residue you get from coconut or mustard oil. For fine hair, oily scalps, or anyone who finds traditional oils too heavy, that lightness is the entire benefit.

Will grapeseed oil grow my hair?

Grapeseed oil is not a hair growth treatment in the way Redensyl or minoxidil is. It does not directly stimulate follicles. What it does is create the conditions that allow your existing hair to grow without breakage — by sealing the cuticle, reducing mid-shaft snapping, and supporting a balanced scalp environment. Most women in Pakistan complaining their hair isn't growing are actually losing length to breakage, not slow root growth. For follicle-level growth stimulation, pair grapeseed oil with our Rosemary Hair Growth Oil or Hair Loss Advanced Solution serum.

Can I use it daily?

Yes — that is what separates this oil from heavier formulas. Apply 2–3 drops to damp or dry mid-lengths and ends every day for frizz control and shine, or before heat styling as a protectant. Limit scalp application to 1–2 times per week, even though the oil is lightweight, to avoid buildup.

Is it good for oily scalps?

Yes — and this is one of the strongest cases for using grapeseed oil over heavier oils. Most hair oils make oily scalps worse by adding more oil. Grapeseed oil works differently. It is non-comedogenic (does not clog follicles) and contains astringent compounds that help regulate sebum production. With consistent use, oily scalps tend to rebalance rather than over-produce.

Is it safe for coloured or keratin-treated hair?

Yes. The formula is free from sulphates, mineral oil, silicones, and artificial fragrance — all of which can fade colour or strip keratin treatments. Grapeseed oil actually helps coloured hair stay vibrant for longer by sealing the cuticle and reducing UV-driven colour fade.

Does it really work as a heat protectant?

Partially. Grapeseed oil has one of the highest smoke points of any natural hair oil, which means it stays stable on the hair shaft at higher temperatures than coconut or olive oil. Applied before blow-drying or straightening, it forms a thin protective layer that reduces direct heat damage to the cuticle. It is not a full substitute for a dedicated thermal heat protectant spray, but it adds a meaningful layer of protection — particularly when paired with one.

Can I mix it with other hair oils?

Yes — grapeseed oil is one of the best blending bases there is. Mix 1–2 tablespoons with thicker oils like castor, rosemary, or hibiscus to dilute their heaviness while keeping their actives intact. This is ideal if you want the hair growth benefits of rosemary or castor oil but find them too heavy on their own.

Will it help with dandruff and itchy scalp?

It can help with mild dandruff caused by dryness, oil imbalance, or surface scalp irritation. The vitamin E reduces inflammation and the linoleic acid supports the scalp's barrier function. However, grapeseed oil is not a treatment for fungal dandruff (Malassezia) or scalp conditions like seborrheic dermatitis or psoriasis. If your dandruff is severe, persistent, or accompanied by redness and burning, we recommend a consultation at Dr. Arooba's clinic.

Can men use it?

Yes. The oil is unisex, fragrance-free, and equally effective for men dealing with frizz, dryness, dandruff, or heat styling damage. Men with thinning hair will see better growth-specific results from our Rosemary Hair Growth Oil — but grapeseed oil works well as a daily-use serum or scalp balancer.
